NSW: Man who claimed he was paraplegic walks into court
A man who claimed he was a paraplegic and that he was assaulted and robbed while inhis wheelchair walked into a Sydney court today in his running shoes.
32-year-old STEVEN CRAIG SEACH has faced Penrith Local Court charged with false representationand obtaining benefit by deception.
SEACH is charged with falsely claiming he was a paraplegic and that he had been assaultedand robbed of his wheelchair, key card and mobile phone before being left hanging on aMount Druitt fencepost.
He's also accused of falsely obtaining a valuable wheelchair from the public by donation.
A local Penrith Court Registrar today adjourned the matter to the same court on September 10.
SEACH hasn't entered a plea and bail has been continued.
